About Tengu Games
Tengu Games is an Australian-owned trading card and collectables store based in Melbourne, specialising in authentic Japanese trading cards, anime collectables and hard-to-find products imported directly from Japan.
From Collectors to Tengu Games
Tengu Games started in 2013, originally selling through eBay. Before we were retailers, we were collectors and players ourselves.
After travelling to Japan, we discovered an enormous range of trading cards, anime merchandise and collectables that simply weren't readily available back home in Australia. We knew Australian collectors were missing out on products that were commonplace in Japan.
So we decided to help bridge that gap.
What started as a small eBay store grew into Tengu Games, with the goal of making authentic Japanese cards and collectables easier for Australian collectors to find and enjoy.
Authentic Products, Direct from Japan
Authenticity has always been important to us. Our products are authentic and sourced directly from Japan, giving our customers confidence in what they're adding to their collections.
Over the years, we've expanded our range to include Japanese trading cards, TCG products, anime merchandise and niche collectables from a wide variety of franchises.
We're particularly proud to offer one of Australia's largest ranges of Japanese wafer cards, covering popular anime, games and Japanese franchises alongside harder-to-find releases that often aren't widely available locally.
Part of the Australian Collecting Community
More than a decade after we started, we're still collectors at heart.
You'll also find Tengu Games at conventions, card shows and collectables events across Melbourne and Sydney, where we get to meet the collectors and players who have supported us over the years.
Whether you're searching for the latest Japanese release, adding something unusual to your collection or hunting down a niche product you can't easily find in Australia, our aim remains the same as when we started:
Bring more of Japan's collecting scene to Australian collectors.
